Image via WikipediaH.pylori a comma shaped bacteria generally contaminate drinking water has been linked to development of gastritis and duodenal ulcer and found associated with cancer stomach.This bacteria remains under the mucous layer of stomach , infect the cells and sets inflammation.This gradually progress to type B gastritis which may in the long run gives rise to development of cancer stomach.
Now-a-days drugs are given to target this bacteria with an intension to cure gastritis and duodenal ulcer.
